Sandy
M. Klopf,
born on May 17,1940, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2005.
Sandy's valiant 17-year fight against ovarian cancer ended at 7:30 a.m.
Sandy was born in Grosse Point, Mich., and lived in Kansas, California, Utah,
Oregon and Arizona. Sandy succeeds Ron, her husband of 33 years, five children,
Susan, Robert, Debbie, Ron, and Steve, along with 13 loved grandchildren.
Sandy worked for 22 years as an administrative assistant for the Unisys Corp. in
San Diego, Calif. during which time she received many awards.
Sandy was active in the Green Valley Swim Group, Red Hat Society, Newcomers,
Dreamcatchers and the B.A.J.A. organization.
Sandy was a very caring person making friends and assisting people whatever the
task or problems. Sandy was the kindest, most generous, unselfish, loving person
we have ever known. Sandy carried her burden of her cancer struggle without
complaint or burden to anyone.
Sandy will be remembered and her memory will be carried on by all of those whose
hearts and lives she touched.
Sandy's painless passing was made possible by the Carondelet Hospice
Organization.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 27, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of
the Valley Catholic Church.
