All 50s Annual Picnic September 11, 2005, 9:00 a.m. - sundown or so! The picnic will be at De Anza Cove, close to the golf course entrance. Look for the banner and a bunch of old codgers! (Quote from Ricearoni!) Bring your own food to the picnic and whatever else you need.

| Nancy and Gaylord Albright met me for lunch while they were here. As you can see, Nancy is making a great recovery. Unfortunately, they were here while we had eight days of record breaking high temperatures but it didn't scare them off. They will have a second home here for when they want to get away from the big island and to use as a stopping point on their travels. They celebrated their 45th anniversary in July! What a great couple! |

Lewis fell and broke his hip a few days ago.
Gene has been transferred from Thornton Hospital to a
rehabilitation facility (Tue). He will be there for up to two weeks. Facility

ONGOING BAND REHEARSAL
A message from Rey......Thanks everyone for showing
your support. Please join us on rehearsal nights at the Vocational School Auditorium
next to the Kaiser Clinic off Midway Dr. on
Fordham St. for our rehearsal on Mondays 7 pm to 9pm. It’s a fun couple of hours listening to the
Big Band "Old Standards" And there's room to dance.
