Mission Bay High School
Class of 1958
What's going on ?????
Cell Phones (Information
from Ricearoni)
You may place your personal cell phone number on the National Do Not Call
Registry. The registry has accepted cell phone numbers since it opened for
registrations in June 2003. There is no deadline to register a home or cell
phone number on the Registry.
You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be
assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number
database; however, that is not the case. Federal Communications Commission
regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell
phone numbers.
You can register
online at
WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV or call toll-free, 1-888-382-1222 (TTY
1-866-290-4236), from the number you wish to register. Registration is free.
Free Information Please Phone
Call (Information from Jack Denson)
Phone
companies are charging us $1.00 or more for 411 / information
calls. When you need to use 411,
simply dial 1 800 FREE 411 or 1 800 373 3411 without incurring a charge at all
(except for the minutes required to make the call if you are using a cell
phone.) This is information people don't mind receiving, so please let
others know. Program this number, 1 800 373 3411, into your CELL and
start getting FREE information. Do not dial 411 anymore.
The E-mail page has several
updates. Let Dave know if
yours needs to be updated! **This
indicates a new e-mail address or hometown.
